Channel your Inner Detective...

The basic formula for a murder mystery party is simple; we bring our expert Murder Mystery Host Detective(dressed suitably for your theme), to set the scene for a murder that your party will have 2-3 hours to solve.

Some of your guests(likely the extroverts!) will be chosen to play the parts of suspects, but everyone gets to participate in helping to solve the crime.

Each murder mystery experience has a specific theme, and the more people dress up, the more immersive the whole experience becomes.  Your Murder Mystery host will guide you through several rounds of gameplay summarized as follows:

Round 1: Meet ‘n’ Greet; your host will set the scene, and the murderer finds out who they are but must not reveal their identity.  The murderer can lie; but everyone else must tell the truth, although they can attempt to change the subject, bluster, and so on.

Round 2: Evidence and motives for the murder will be revealed as players exchange information and begin to ask questions.

Round 3: Additional evidence will be revealed as players ask a new round of questions getting closer to figuring out who the murderer is.

Round 4: Guests vote for who they believe the murderer to be, but the results remain concealed.

Round 5: In typical detective style, the host will gather everyone together to solve the murder.  The host will invite players to make direct accusations.  If accused successfully, the murderer must confess.  If the murderer is not identified, then the detective will make the final accusation revealing the solution.

Round 6: The game is
ended, and time to award prizes for any category you can think of e.g.- Best
Detective, Best Costume, Best Liar, Best Actor, and so on.
